what have i accomplished in 2014? i think the year was pretty much the usual..though no ups, i'm glad there were no major downs too. i'm pretty thankful it was that way.

major milestone? probably the NYC trip that i clocked. i was watching a show that day and someone said that traveling alone makes one realise the loneliness within. to be very frank, i was too tired to feel that way. there were too many places that i needed to cover, and i thought i loved the freedom more than anything else. not forgetting the purchase which i was most proud of - my iphone 5s. never appreciated the usefulness of a phone so much.

mistakes made and i promise not to make them again this year. and ever. i hope i would be forgiven for those silly things that i have done. :|

i kept thinking about the opportunities that i have given up. did i take things too lightly back then? what would have happened if i made the first move 9yrs back? what if i gave ourselves a chance 8yrs back? what if i accepted him 7yrs back? what if i didn't give up on him 3yrs back? so many what ifs..just too bad we can't turn back time. maybe its all fate - which i'm a firm believer of. so actually there's no what if to speak of in the first place. its really ok. i think since some time last year, i have learnt to "try" so that i wont live with regrets. i think this will still be the guiding principle moving forward.

new year resolution? really nothing much. 

just wishing for a safe and smooth year ahead for myself, my family and everyone else. world peace V.

Two O One Four

Whee~ I'm kinda surprised that I didn't face much trouble trying to log in! After 2 years lol. It's one unordinary sleepless night cos I don't usually have problem sleeping on a work day. Anyways for strange reason, I was reminded of my jc chem teacher Ms Wong Wai San. I tried to find her on fb and even google, but there was no result. It's kinda strange that one could have just disappeared so totally in a social-media-advanced world today. I think I still have her number in my K700i but I doubt she would remember me even if I were to drop her a SMS. Who knows she might have changed her number. No matter what, she was a nice teacher and I just hope that she is doing well somewhere out there.

Ok trying to sleep. My first post using iPhone. Lol.

the last post was almost 1 yr ago..abt 11 mths to be exact. looking back the past 11 mths, what has happened in my life?

 20-23sep - Singapore GP. and i thought last yr i was already very close to the mobile toy cars, this yr i was even closer. A FLAG MARSHAL OMG i had never dreamed that there'd be such a day. thou sector 12 was pretty quiet, i enjoyed myself v much still. i swear it was tiring, but somehow, it was all worth it. and the friends made. cool.
Jun - my first X trip. very different from what i thought it would be.
May - my first HK trip. it was fun, shopping, eating, and the big buddha. i'll never forget how the pple-of-a-particular-race tried to check in tonnes of red-white-blue bags. unfortunately the fotos were gone. there was also the most unfortunate big ROW that took place.
Apr/May - my first conference. cool - MILAN. what can be more cool? (ANS: going to US) anything before that? work and work and work :(

oooo 8mths ltr. so many things took place during the past 8mths.
milestones?

23oct - my 3rd trip of the year. Bavaria. i've always wanted to go to austria, and there i had it. lots of pork. pork knuckle, roasted pork, pork sausage, bratwurst...and beer was damn nice. dirt cheap. back home, i'm porkaphobic.
and i finally undstd why that stupid silverfish flatmate of mine then, was so happy to have a german as her fellow flatmate. austria n germany are so damn close..even closer than sg and msia. put 1 leg in front, and there u have it..u'll be having a nationality-crisis.

25sep - i watched the F1. not on TV. semi-live @ UOB Plaza L60. thanks to EEEAA.

27aug - ooo went up to chocolate bar @ MBS. spectacular view from the legendary glass swimming pool. nice choco buffet btw, but too sweet.

22aug - can't even rmb when we got tgther. only knew that i broke up with sc. too differing views and clashing characters. just too bad.

30jul - immediately after the dinner, just few hours ltr, i was at the airport T2. my first work trip, my first time to US! shopping at outlet in phoenix was damn fun. course was of cos, zzZZZ! extended with pk, cal, eugene and rumi @ San Frans. OH MAN THAT WAS EVEN MORE FUN.

29jul - GE2011 dinner. my own organised grad dinner. got the EEE Excellence award. made a speech. one of the greatest achievements ever.

25jul - my convocation. the day i officially no longer was a student.

20jun - my mum's bday. and my first time at a real fotoshoot for the convo VIP showcase. omg so fun. the poses, the setup and the makeup. haha

17may - i bought my beloved ipod touch! without camera :(

19mar - i rebonded my hair. haha

anything before, either i've forgotten them or they're just insignificant. haha ciao.

just when i was contemplating if i shd make my deserted blog known..

i have a habit of collecting ticket stubs (and throwing them all over my table)
and just only, i sorted them, and i think i still have the most of the stubs of the movies since Alvin and the Chipmunks
gosh..some of the shows, i couldnt even rmb i've watched them
and of cos, let alone the storylines. haha
and be glad, i wrote down at the back of the stubs, with whom i've watched the shows.

but of cos..even if i give myself the benefit of doubt that i've got 20 more shows unaccounted for, i bet..42 shows in 22 yrs..thats considered quite little huh?! haha

i'm just so darn pissed off
and now i realise that i'm sheer dumb

if you share that of the others with the whole of ur world
depriving others of wat they could have gotten
had it not been ur selfishness

words can't be taken back
just like time can't be reversed
thats what lessons are for
for us to learn
